BabyBjörn has a long-term strategic partnership with the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI). IHDI is an international, non-profit organization with a global network of medical experts. It is widely recognized as a leading authority on hip dysplasia.
Together, we work to increase awareness and understanding of hip dysplasia in its various forms — among parents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Our collaboration with IHDI began in 2012 during the development of Baby Carrier One. Since then, the partnership has continued as an ongoing research collaboration.
We maintain a continuous dialogue with IHDI to stay up to date on the latest scientific findings. Their physicians also contribute with expertise during product development by evaluating designs and providing professional guidance.

Independent Funding and Shared Commitment
As a strategic partner, BabyBjörn provides financial support to IHDI. This support is given as a donation. IHDI independently decides how the funding is allocated and manages all decisions regarding its use.
