To be able to process your purchase order and handle payment transactions.
To be able to manage your deliveries, returns, refunds, claims and warranty matters in a secure and effective manner, and to be able to notify you of the details and the status of such matters.
To be able to request your participation in customer and product surveys based on your recent purchase.

Lawful basis: When making products available to you, we will process your personal data necessary for fulfilment of a contract with you and to fulfil any obligations derived from that contract, whether the contract refers to a purchase order and payment, or the use of other services provided by us or by third parties. When you need to make a return or claim a consumer right, we will process your personal data to fulfil obligations derived from concluding a contract with us, whether the contract refers to a purchase transaction, or the use of other services provided by us or by third parties. Purpose of processing:
To be able to manage your questions, handle complaints, warranty matters and registrations, order tracking, refunds, returns and to provide technical support, as well as to improve customer experience.
To be able to contact you, if necessary, via email, telephone, social media or any other means in response to your enquiries.
Type of personal data:
Contact information such as name, email address, telephone number, street address.
User-generated content, i.e. information that you provide during a customer service matter, for example photos or videos.
To resolve your case, we may also need to access and use transaction data, such as order, payment and delivery information.

Lawful basis: The processing of your personal data to provide you with the best possible customer service is based on both our legitimate interest as a business and the fulfilment of our contractual obligations to you.

We may continue to keep and use your data if we have outstanding obligations to you or are prevented from erasure for any other reasons.

Please note that by hash-tagging your picture or video clip, you voluntarily share the content and other personal data with Instagram or other social media platforms. This relationship is outside of BabyBjörn’s control, and is a matter between you and the social media service provider.

Where and with whom do we share your personal data?

At BabyBjörn, only the information needed is handled, and only by those who need it, to provide the best service to our customers.
Your rights
You are the one in control of your personal data, and we always strive to ensure that you can exercise your rights as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
Access – You always have the right to receive information about the processing of data that concerns you. We will only provide information if we have been able to verify that you are the one requesting that information.
Rectification – If you discover that the personal data we are processing about you is incorrect, please let us know and we will fix it!
Erasure – Do you want us to completely forget about you? You have the right to be forgotten and request erasure of your personal data when the processing is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. If we are required to retain your information under applicable law or a contract that we have entered with you, we will ensure that it is processed only for the specific purpose set forth in such applicable law or contract. We will thereafter erase the information as soon as possible.
Objections – Do you disagree with our assessment that our legitimate interest in processing your personal data overrides your interest in protecting your privacy? Don't worry – in this case, we will review our legitimate interest assessment. Of course, we add your objection to the balance and make a new assessment to see if we can still justify our processing of your personal data. If you object to direct marketing, we will immediately delete your personal information without making an assessment.
Restriction – You can also ask us to restrict our processing of your personal data.
Whilst we are processing a request from you to exercise any of your other rights;
If, instead of requesting erasure, you want us to limit the processing of personal data for a specific purpose. For example, if you do not want us to send advertising to you in the future, we will still need to save your name in order to know that we should not contact you; or
in cases where we no longer need the information in relation to the purpose for which it was collected, provided that you do not have an interest in retaining it to make a legal claim.

Please note that you can only withdraw your consent for future processing of personal data and not for processing that has already taken place.
